TheOwners Project Requirements include the delivery of a 3000 sq.m. high performance business center, daycare, restaurant, roof top garden to a $9M target cost. The project was to be completed four months early achieve Living Building Challenge and LEED Platinum Certification.

The team was hand picked based upon qualifications, compatibility with the project vision and were engaged based upon the proposed value proposition. The team attended Boot Camp, were trained and adopted Lean Project Delivery from the very beginning of the project. Major partners share risk and reward by entering into a Multi-Party Integrated Form of Agreement. The team were expected to be engaged, committed and were held accountable for a collaborative, productive and focused work effort.

Green - Sustainability
Building features include a Living Wall, beautiful warm wood structure, exceptional landscaping, vegetable garden, rooftop terrace, common interactive space and a daycare. Efficiency measures include sustainable expectations for thermal comfort, great day lighting, minimal light fixtures, low energy design so that PV panels on the roof provide 100% of the energy for the building. The transformational features include community engagement, project website, high level of promotion that Normal is Broken and there is a better way.
